Nora Valkyrie (Closet Cosplay)

hey guys! long time to no talk, like I've said, I'll usually update at least once a week.

anyways, I decided to closet cosplay Nora Valkyrie today! (I also did Serah Farron, which will be a different post) 

I cut the wig myself, but was way too lazy to style it lol. I used to have the wig for ren jinguji but then I decided on a whim to cut it for nora. (I was going to post a tutorial but the wig cutting did not go well xD) 

Here's my makeup! 

I really loved the makeup I did for nora. It's a bit more intense than I actually wanted but it turned out pretty well c:

Face: I used my Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation, then concealed my eyes with my Covergirl + Olay Concealer Balm. I set it all with my L.A powder foundation. I used a brown eyeshadow and contoured my nose. Then I put a little blush (like an unnoticeable amount) on my cheeks. Finally I put on a nice peachy lipstick. 

Eyes: I'm wearing my GEO Angel Blue contacts from Pinky Paradise. I don't think I'll ever get to reviewing them, so I'll just say right now that I love them and they look natural and make my eyes look huge. The only downside to them is they get kind of tiring to wear after an hour or so... Anywho, back to makeup. I lightly applied black eyeshadow on my lids and smudged them to look smokey eyed. I lined 1/2 of my bottom eye with black pencil liner. I used black liquid liner and winged it out on my top lid. Then I lined my waterline with my Blonde Ambition liner and I'm finished!

Outfit of the Day: January 13, 2014

wub wub I suppose I'll be updating like almost daily

today's look is called the "Lazy Teenager":

I'm wearing a red varsity jacket from Macy's, my Harry Potter Hogwarts muscle tee from Forever 21, black jeans and black and white high top Converse. 

Here's my makeup! 

close up? kind of?

Face: I just put on a layer of moisturizer and some lip balm, nothing else. 

Eyes: I lined my upper lid with my Cinnabar Maybelline eyeliner and my outer corner. I did add some of my Blonde Ambition Sephora liner but I wiped it off cause it was too shiny for a lazy outfit lol. 

I kept it really natural because I'm lame and natural makeup ftw.

Ninja Love Spin Off Story, Goemon "Starting Over" Walkthrough

omg I blog too much but something really exciting just happened!

so I play this otome game for my iphone called Shall We Date?: Ninja Love. it's absolutely fantastic and the art is amazing but I'll put off a review until I actually finish Kotaro's story. 

here's just (kind of) me live blogging Goemon's Spin Off story "Starting Over"

in Ninja Love (and Destiny Ninja) there are little slot things you can do to win prizes! (I'll add the perks of that to my review later) And I happen to win Goemon's Spin Off story "Starting Over"! If you're a cheap bum like me and doesn't like paying for things, this is a real good steal hehe. My first pull in the Special Story Slot, I won Saizo's "Starting Over" but that was like weeks ago so I hold to record of that *sobs*. Then I got some random stuff blahblah, onto the walk through! 

my excitement is overloading lol 

like I had mentioned before, I'm doing Kotaro's story at the moment so I barely knew anything about Goemon. he's the typical player type you get in every otome game. wowie, hot stuff right here. 

and the story begins! 

It starts off with me waking up, being like omg who is this guy next to me, why the heck am I naked, wtf. Then I do the obvious thing and try to run away because I just woke up naked to some guy I don't know. But you know, Goemon's got other plans doki doki. 

oh bby it was good I just don't remember anything 

omg I'll try but you know I don't know you and yeah. anywho like I start screaming and stuff, saying that now I can't get married because I did the you know with this guy wowie. but you know, he explains that we're obviously married, omg kairi how did you not know oh wait you forgot everything. then he takes me to the doctors.

yep, got high on those shrooms, I mean what. omg Goemon stop telling your friends about our sex life. 

don't worry bby, even if it wasn't natural, I'd bang you anyways //omfg kairi wtf. anywho Hanzo is like yo bro I don't need to know what y'all got going on in the sack but like she's gonna be okay in a few days yeah. 

I didn't take any screenshots of the next part so it's kind of lame, but like I stalk Goemon and find out he's a super sweet guy who teaches children and helps the elderly awwww. 

then some sluts try to get on my husband like what. so you know I do the thing some wives with sexy husbands do, I leave the place and pretend I was never there.

aw my bby boo, he's like no girl, I love you and you alone so forget those other women cause you my number one yeahhhhh. 

ITS GETTING HOT IN HERE OH HO HO.

oh yeah then I'm like I think we should stop I'm not ready, and Goemon is like "don't worry, your body still remembers me" and you know he does the wow and yeah. (Kai being subtle wink wonk) 

oh so then I wake up and I forget about forgetting about him Σ(￣。￣ﾉ)ﾉ I got really high on those lights I MEAN SHROOMS (laughs no one gets the ref lol) and the story ends there! 

I like it, I hope you guys did. My commentary is horrible. //not sorry

I'll be doing more stuff like this, maybe with manga? But I'm liking the spin off story commentary hehe.

The Second Reproduction Review

wow what I update too soon? well I need to kick off this blog somehow so I'm going to be reviewing The Second Reproduction.

Visual Novel Database's Plot Summary: Christina was the third princess of Almenan, and born in the era of war against the Demons. Having the status of a “Champion”, Christina had countless battle victories upon her shoulders and was feared by the Demon race. Being the most successful of her three sisters, her mother the queen sent her on a secret mission to assassinate the Demon Lord Gardis in return for his ruthless annihilation of the Kingdom of Crofts. Obeying her mother’s orders for the sake of her kingdom, Christina set out alongside with her most loyal knight Lezette to take the Demon Lord’s head, and to bring peace to the land.

My Review:

Positives: 

Holy cow, so you get to play as this kick-ass princess who can actually kick ass. She's a pretty strong protagonist, surprisingly, given that most otome game girls are really weak and vulnerable. (no offense, yeah I'm talking to you Diabolik Lovers) The story was really stable and there are a few funny scenes and it was depressing in some parts THEN THE SECRET TWIST COMES IN OHHHHHHH. Also the voice acting is magnificent! I think Lezette is my fave asdfghjkl. But yeah, overall it's a good plot with beautiful art (as you can tell from the screenshots above upupupu) and wholesome (well, kind of) characters. 

Negatives: 

I don't know if this counts as a negative but the main girl protagonist is incredibly oblivious. I don't wanna spoil anything so I'll keep it at that. Feel free to comment below after you understand what I mean by oblivious. But besides that, there weren't really many negatives.

Rating: 4/5

Like most otome games, after finishing one story, the others get kind of bland but overall, the story was good so it's worth playing.

Hilda/Touko from Pokemon Black and White (Closet Cosplay)

sorry for the lame phone pics, but I really wanted to post a tutorial for this easy, easy, easy cosplay!

I absolutely loved this cosplay because it was so simple to just dig through my closet and throw stuff on. 

what you will need: 

- a white tank top

- a black vest

- blue shorts 

- a baseball cap of your choice 

- opinional: a long wig (I'll post up a tutorial later on how to create a ponytail/bun easily with a wig) and combat boots (since I didn't take full body pics, it wasn't needed) 

I will actually be doing a cosplay for her later. But for now, I just wanted to show you guys that you can just throw on some stuff and have fun with it!

I am wearing Geo Angel Blue circle lens from pinkyparadise.com. I will be doing a seperate review for them later.

For my face makeup, I put on a layer of foundation and contoured my nose and my cheeks with bronzer and brown eyeshadow. 

For my eye makeup, I put a layer of a beige eyeshadow on my first, then traced my crease with a dark brown and then a magenta brown. I took my brown pencil liner and lined my upper eye and the outer corner of my eyes. After, I used my liquid brown liner to wing it out then added my fake eyelashes. Finally I took my Blonde Ambition eyeliner and lined my water line to create that dolly effect. I didn't feel like put on lipstick so I threw on some lip balm and there you go! 

I hope that hoped anyone out there wanting to find a quick and easy cosplay to do!
